Brian Evans – Ceramist
Ricky Evans Gallery is proud to have represented the work of Brian Evans (no relation!) since 2013. He creates wonderful utilitarian and decorative pottery as well as unique ceramic sculptures.
Born in Beaufort, SC, Brian was raised in Western PA and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1993 with a BA in Studio Art. In 1995 he moved to Wilmington, NC and began honing his pottery skills under the tutelage of accomplished potter Hiroshi Sueyoshi. Since 2002 Brian has taught pottery classes for all levels through Cape Fear Community College and Orange Street Pottery. His award-winning work can be found in public and private collections across the nation and abroad.
